An Aosta Valley ski paradise, renown for its landscapes' beauty and its ski slopes' variety.  The Breuil-Cervinia territory contains the 1524 metres high Valtournenche, the 3408 metres high Theodul Glacier that almost reaches 4000 metres with the Klein Matterhorn peak and includes also the 4478 metres of the Matterhorn, the "perfect pyramid" where, in 1936, the first funicular railway was built between Breuil and Plan Maison. One of the biggest ski district all over Italy and Europe, counting more than 360 kilometres of ski slopes whose variety make it possible to alternate difficult and easy skiing.  In Breuil-Cervinia, skiing is possible all year round. The Theodul Glacier is always snowy. Its 350 kilometres long ski slopes are supplied by many ski lifts, including one that takes you nearly at the peak of Klein Matterhorn. In the summertime, you can practice trekking, excursionism, paragliding and mountain bike.

Courmayer
